So I guess yesterday's accident wasn't the end of the world. Once again, I found a temporary template that I can use until a greater genius than I offers to rebuild my site. Until then...

Guess what world? What if I told you that you could see Gillian Welch, Patty Griffin, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Nickel Creek, EmmyLou Harris and others for only $40? You'd go, right? Me too. But the problem is, it's a festival in Austin, Texas. Yup. That's like 18 driving hours from where I live, and $200 a plane ticket. But come on! These people are amazing, and I'd pay $40 to see any one of them. All of them for that price; well I'd just about sell my soul. I'm still cooking up ways to get there though.

The other day my roommate and I were at the library. We do not look alike, but we both have short hair and glasses. People often mistake us for sisters. I couldn't believe it when a librarian came up to us and said, "I have to ask...do you guys ever do the twin switch thing?" I didn't understand what she was saying at first, but then we looked at each other and laughed. She had to be kidding, but she wasn't. Strange.

Well, tomorrow I'm off to Mexico (again) for some more relaxing on the beach. :) I'm not a beach bum, I promise. Last week it was the family, this week it's a friend's birthday wish to spend her birthday on the beach. Yahoo.
