heading off a nosedive?

Here is my song for the asking
Ask me and I will play
So sweetly, I'll make you smile

This is my tune for the taking
Take it, don't turn away
I've been waiting all my life

Thinking it over, I've been sad
Thinking it over, I'd be more than glad
To change my ways for the asking
Ask me and I will play
All the love that I hold inside

Okay well, spewing all my thoughts into here made me feel much better. Driving home in the dark didn't. I do feel better though, and I'm not sure why. Especially when a friend called me tonight and proved my point by talking extensively about herself. (Sorry friend.) I proved it too--I just wanted to talk about me; but didn't since she didn't care. (Sorry again.)

And on a refreshing note: eden, you were right. 'Horatio Hornblower' guy is very hot. I just saw episode one (I think) last night. Mmmm.

Maybe next time I'll include a poem I once wrote about depression. See what you think. I wrote it while under the influence (of depression of course), which happens a lot--my illness makes me quite prolific if I let it. Not that it's good writing, but it is interesting--it's like a whole different person speaking.
