no words are adequate

I'm in shock, unable to imagine the pain of the survivors, and the families of everyone involved. I weep when I try.
I fear when I hear words of war. I feel sad, terribly sad.
At this time I feel the same as when someone I know has died. Suddenly death isn't just a concept. It's painful, it makes you consider your whole life and what you stand for. The comfort in this situation is that the whole of America feels the same way. We are in this together.
And no matter what else, God can comfort us. President Bush had the right idea: "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me."
Amen.
