lifeblood

movies and goodbye

1:56 p.m. @ 2001-08-21

Sorry to disappoint those faithful readers who've been my loyal fans through my many moods, but I am afraid to report that ms. lifeblood is having a crisis of sorts, and will be taking a sabbatical from diaryland. And no complaining--yellowducky did it.

I don't know how long it will last; hopefully not longer than a month, but who can know? I don't feel inclined to tell the story of why I'm leaving (at least not online where everyone can see it), but if you're curious, email me and I'll tell you. In parting, I leave you with a list (I'm so fond of lists)--

some of my favorite movies in no particular order:

Gidget, Muppets Take Manhattan, The 400 Blows, Latcho Drom, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Muppet Treasure Island, What about Bob?, Wayne's World, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Good Will Hunting, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Funny Face, Funny Girl, Clue, What's up Doc?, Evita, Star Wars trilogy, Candleshoe, My Dog Skip, The Big Sleep, The Three Amigos, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Adventures of the Wilderness Family, The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, Metropolis, Willow, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Slipper and the Rose, Il Postino, The Sound of Music, Little Women, Rebel without a Cause, West Side Story, Run Lola Run, Singin' in the Rain, Empire of the Sun, Ladyhawk, Superman, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Sixth Sense, Citizen Kane, Spellbound, The Maltese Falcon, East of Eden, The Peanut Butter Solution, A River Runs Through It, The Sting, It Happened One Night, Raising Arizona, Wait Until Dark, Pride and Prejudice

If you miss me, watch one of these movies and think on me. Even better, if you know me, call me, and we'll watch one.

lifeblood signing out.....
